It recharges in a few hours using a computer’s USB port from being completely flat, and allows you to vape while charging. So if portability is important to you, the RXmini does a really good job of getting plenty of battery life into a compact package. It goes without saying that if you want much better battery life you’re going to need a bigger mod. The problem does exist for the RXmini to some extent, but the battery is still enough to get you through a whole workday of vaping unless you’re really chain-vaping. The RXmini has an in-built 2,100 mAh battery, and in general, more compact devices will struggle on battery life more than bigger ones.
This includes low resistance cutoff (for under 0.1 ohms in VW/bypass mode or 0.05 ohms in a TC mode), short circuit protection, 10 second cutoff, high (internal) temperature cutoff and low battery protection.

There are also all the safety features you expect from a VV/VW mod on the RXmini. It also has a stealth mode (just press and hold the fire button and left adjustment button), and can be turned off entirely by pressing the fire button five times in a row.
For instance, you can choose to have the battery life displayed through an icon or as a percentage, and you can choose the current you’re operating at, a puff count or a total vaping time counter to be displayed on the bottom. The RXmini also has plenty of additional features that you won’t use as much but still make nice additions to what the device can do. There isn’t really much need to use this mode in most cases – since you can simply set whatever wattage you want and get consistent performance using VW mode – but the feature is executed well regardless. The RXmini also offers the option of “bypass” mode, which basically gives you the raw battery voltage in the manner of a mechanical mod.
